Norrmälarstrand

The sidewalk along Norrmälarstrand at the island Kungsholmen is a popular promenade in Stockholm. From the road you look out over Lake Mälaren and (on the other side of the water) the island Södermalm.
In the Millenium Trilogy books this is where the secret service agent Monica Figuerola does her morning jogs and at the restaurant Mälarpaviljongen (you can see the floating "bridges" that is a part of the restaurant behind the birch trees) she meets the policeman Jan Bublanski.
