Do we need yet another panorama web site?
Needed?
There are quite a few really nice, public, web sites where photographers may upload there images and show others there panoramas. So actually I guess Panogio is not that necessary... But as always, everything can be done better and a bit of competition won't hurt.
The web site with the most frequently uploaded number of equirectangular is Flickr and you can't even watch the images as they are meant to be viewed at flickr! They got to be doing something right (of course the extreme amount of potential viewers are appealing but perhaps there are more to it)... Lets see if we can figure it out. Please leave a comment to this page with your opinion!

Hmm, after looking for a system to publish panos I ended up joining 360Cities. Publishing is a snap, I can embed my panos in Wordpress postings and propagate my work. Where are you located, in Liguria? Saluti da Genova, Thomas
